Sonya Pritchard was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She earned a degree in biology, and has worked as a scientist for more than twenty-four years. Despite her scientific background, she has always been a believer in the supernatural. Her debut novel, Shades of the Lingering, combines her lifelong interests in anthropology, biology, primatology, evolution, psychic abilities, and ghosts. Sonya continued to work on this novel over a span of fifteen years while also maintaining a full-time career and raising her daughter as a single mother. She is extremely excited to finally share her story with you.
